I've needed to be killing
a) Bindweed invasion from hell
b) Stuff growing over from my neighbour's garden which has yellow blossom and dyes my laundry on the line bright yellow.
Instead I've been killing whatever is (was) living in pots, and a ceonothus which made it through a lot of winters and a lot of neglect, and finally met its death at the hands of yours truly doling out some serial killer frenzy level pruning.

I know that some of you are so green fingered that you kill most of your vegetation by eating it, so please inspire me! How do you keep your plants 'held in mind'? How do you work full time jobs and stuff and still not forget to water shit?

No idea, but I'll be watching the comments with interest in case anyone else does.
My houseplants' odds of survival have improved astronomically though since I figured out how to make laziness work for me and started tipping all the half finished drinks I found round the house onto them instead of down the sink.
That could help. The houseplants anyway.
I just inherited the most amazingly lush garden. The old man we bought the farm from stops by periodically with bits of advice, "you don't want to work it when it's wet- and it has just enough clay in it to hold water well."
These things I ponder long and hard. So, my advice is: take advice well!
Also, my husband is a good gardener and tells me what to do. Same principle.
Oh, and if you have no one to advise you, find out what kind of plant you have and YOUTUBE it. I watch regular people's gardening videos on youtube. Even if you get no usable advice from it, it's hours of entertainment. Way more entertaining than you might think.
